I am at 54 days, almost 8 weeks. I have been using one crutch for about two weeks now. I go crutchless in my house but outside I use one still. Therapist thinks this is best for stability since we are in winter with snow and ice sporadically on the ground. My knee is still pain free unless I try to bend it too far. I am at 140 degrees. I have been doing some mild yoga for strethching purposes. Many poses I am not able to do, but it is helping me mentally feel like I'm on the road to normal. I ride my recumbant bike approximately 10 miles a day and do a couple of miles on a hydro track at therapy twice a week. I only have a couple more weeks of therapy (gotta love insurance).

I plan to start swimming next month and do some of my own aquatherapy. Would like to do a 5K even if I have to walk this spring but we'll see. I live in Louisville and derby is filled with lots of races. Many of my friends are training for the Derby Festival Mini. I won't be there. I have done it the last two years and hate to bring this routine.

If the weather cooperates I should be crutchless this week. But this morning we had icy roads and I am leaving for theapy in a couple of hours.
